After raining all day, then sleeting all evening… the snow has finally come! Since I work for a local college, I will be up with the kids in the morning hoping school is canceled. =)

Weird Al Yankovic
I am such a Weird Al fan. First record album I ever bought with my own money was Dare to Be Stupid by Weird Al. Cost $8.00 and was a real vinyl album. =)

ah… I see photos like this and I miss the midwest. I grew up in central kansas and pigs in a trailer - heck - ANY animal hauling trailer take me right back. We don’t see that here in the bay area. Its all huge semi trucks for chain stores, prius, volvos, lexus, mercedes… (not me, I drive a vw bug) Its all way to uppity and civilized here. I miss the slower pace and local chat in the coffee shops. I miss fields. I miss thunderstorms.
