A place for everything…
…and everything in its place, yeah right. Maybe some of my everythings’ places are just unconventional. It may be a sign I need to downsize but I SWEAR I will find a purpose for all those spaghetti and pickle jars I keep saving.
Do you ever look around your living space and wonder how life manages to constantly drop so much clutter everywhere? It seems that with 4 children there is a never ending supply of papers and other junk and way too many of them are saved so we don’t forget about the food drive, the PTA meeting, the upcoming conference, the field trips, and on and on.
Then there are my books. I tried to downsize there. I purged the ones I never read and never refer to and don’t want to share one day with the kids. That didn’t even make a dent. Thow in random candle holders that I have picked up at thrift stores, garage sales, and the dollar store & I ran out of room on the shelves long ago.
I want a house that has open shelves instead of walls. That would be a perfect place for books, jars of sewing notions, herbs, and baking items.
